Strategic PMO Lead

Rolle, Switzerland / Hybrid CDI September 1, 2026 7 applicants

Job Description

The Role

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and delivery-focused Strategic PMO Lead to help our clients structure, govern and accelerate complex technology and business transformation programmes.

Working closely with executive sponsors, programme leaders and delivery teams, you will establish effective governance, provide reliable decision-making insights and ensure that strategic objectives translate into measurable outcomes.

This role goes beyond traditional project administration. You will act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, challenge delivery assumptions, anticipate risks and continuously improve how programmes are managed. You will also use data, automation and artificial intelligence to create a more proactive, efficient and value-oriented PMO.

About Neominds

Neominds is a Swiss strategic IT consulting firm helping organisations connect strategy, technology and execution to deliver measurable business value.

We provide senior expertise across technology leadership, complex transformation programmes, IT operations and digital platforms. Artificial intelligence is embedded in the way we work, enabling our consultants and clients to make better decisions, streamline governance and accelerate value delivery.

Human expertise. AI amplified.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Governance and Delivery

  • Establish and operate governance frameworks for complex transformation programmes and portfolios.
  • Translate strategic objectives into clear roadmaps, milestones, deliverables and measurable outcomes.
  • Coordinate work across business, technology, vendors and other delivery partners.
  • Prepare and facilitate steering committees, programme reviews and executive decision forums.
  • Monitor scope, schedule, budget, resources, dependencies, risks and issues.
  • Ensure decisions, actions and accountabilities are clearly documented and followed through.
  • Identify delivery challenges early and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
  • Support programme leaders in maintaining momentum, alignment and stakeholder confidence.

Performance and Value Management

  • Define programme objectives, key performance indicators and value-tracking mechanisms.
  • Build clear, reliable and decision-oriented reporting for senior stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress against expected business outcomes, not only delivery milestones.
  • Challenge plans, estimates and status updates to improve transparency and accountability.
  • Consolidate information from multiple teams into a coherent programme-level view.
  • Support financial tracking, capacity planning and resource prioritisation.
  • Promote fact-based decision-making across the programme.

AI-Enabled PMO

  • Apply artificial intelligence and automation to programme reporting, meeting preparation, action tracking and risk analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce repetitive administrative work and improve information quality.
  • Design intelligent workflows that connect programme data, documentation and decision-making.
  • Develop reusable dashboards, templates, governance models and reporting accelerators.
  • Ensure AI-enabled practices remain secure, reliable and appropriately governed.
  • Help client teams adopt effective AI-assisted programme management practices.

Neominds’ Internal Capabilities

  • Contribute to the development of Neominds’ strategic programme-management offering.
  • Turn successful client approaches into packaged and repeatable solutions.
  • Build reusable PMO frameworks, methodologies, templates and accelerators.
  • Support proposals, client presentations and business-development conversations.
  • Help identify new assignments and opportunities within existing client relationships.
  • Share knowledge and strengthen delivery standards across the organisation.
  • Contribute to partnerships, thought leadership and go-to-market initiatives.

What Success Looks Like

During your first year, you will have:

  • Established trusted relationships with executive sponsors and delivery teams.
  • Implemented clear and effective governance across client programmes.
  • Improved the quality, reliability and usefulness of programme reporting.
  • Helped clients identify risks earlier and make decisions faster.
  • Increased transparency across delivery, finances, resources and expected value.
  • Introduced AI-enabled practices that reduce administrative effort and improve programme insight.
  • Developed reusable PMO frameworks and accelerators for future engagements.
  • Turned successful delivery approaches into packaged Neominds solutions.
  • Contributed directly to client satisfaction, account development and new revenue opportunities.

What We Offer

  • A central role in shaping a growing Swiss consulting firm.
  • Direct influence over Neominds’ programme-management methods and offering.
  • Exposure to strategic and operational transformation challenges.
  • The opportunity to redefine the PMO as a proactive and value-oriented function.
  • The ability to combine senior programme expertise with AI-enabled ways of working.
  • A highly autonomous environment built around trust, expertise and measurable outcomes.
  • Close collaboration with experienced technology and transformation leaders.
